Another stage is done. I finished today’s 31km in 4h17, joint eighth. Although a shorter stage compared to the previous three days, it was another day of relentless sand and sand dune running. My feet are really tender and not in good shape, but now it is just “vasbyt” to the end.

After a quiet afternoon and short nap, we had a surprise for dinner – the Brook family and Adria Downs hosted a BBQ for us. After a few days of freezed dried food, the tender steaks tasted extra special, and with home-made cakes for dessert, as well as a glass of Coke, we had the perfect protein and carbo loading for tomorrow’s Long Stage.
